stream of consciousness entry, ha
I think me missing everyone from school means I have left part of me up there...or something. It means I have something to go back to, at least. That's a good thing! I'm really happy about that, actually. I've been seeing all these posts on facebook of "I miss you, come backkkk!" so I know I'm not the only one either. (What would I do without facebook? It scares me that that's an unanswerable question. Eek.)

Meanwhile, I'm bored at home and LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Seriously, it's really nice. My sister's in high school, my parents are working, and I'm doing whatever I want, all day every day. I visited my high school the other day with a friend, and it was weird. Visiting makes it feel even more like a prison than it did when I was a student there. I was so trapped. I hate remembering what that felt like. College has had its not-so-pleasant moments, but I wouldn't for a MINUTE wish to be back in high school.

My LJ has been pretty boring recently...I mean, unless you like hearing me whine about how my future is scary. Everybody's future is scary, but this is a new feeling for me. What happens after high school? College. What happens after college? Uhhhh...? haha. It's fine, though. Actually, I've been looking into grad schools (I get bored lol) and some seminaries have dual degree programs where I could get both a Master's of Divinity and a Master's of Social Work simultaneously. It would be four years (instead of the MDiv's three) but woah that's a good option. We'll see what happens when I actually have to make these decisions. :)

Uhhh any ideas for making my LJ more interesting? Oh okay, here: Comment and tell me something about your day! Even if we haven't talked in awhile or whatever, I don't care.

I know what you mean... it's ridiculous. Want to add me there too? :)

Hmm my day, well I just got up so not terribly exciting yet.

Oh damn I just realised I got the time zones wrong - I'm pretty sure the times you said in the message are in fact in the middle of the night for me...
Will you be home at night much?

I totally trust you but do you mind if I keep that to people I know irl, at least for now? If LJ goes down or something I'll totally add you. :)

Okay this is DEFINITELY FOR SURE going to happen some day. Once I"m back at school, if not before then.

That's totally fine! I just thought i'd ask, i have a couple of people from lj but most aren't totally comfortable with it.

We will make it happen. Yup.
Actually, i will probably be home at the right sort of time tonight - so provided you're awake that may work :)

Good that you are enjoying school so much :) That means you've found some good friends and feel really comfortable over there, I'm glad to hear it.
And I agree, high school < COLLEGE! Haha visiting back was weird for me too.
the Masters of Divinity and of Social Work sound completely BA. And I totally feel your pain with jobs! It's like ahhh!
You're cool. Bye.

I hope you've had a great semester as well!

Oh I know! The privacy stuff doesn't bother me as much since I *think* I have things set the way I want them. But yeah, part of me really wants to leave, but there's really no better way to keep in touch with people who live all over the place. :/

Haha that's fun! Best of luck with the postage situation. Sounds difficult to keep track of, hmm.

I'm so glad you're making your own little home at school - everyone there really does become a family of sorts, and it's amazing how quickly that becomes home, and the place you grew up becomes "your parents' house."

I priced rat cages today, because I want to get a pair of rats named Puck and Ariel, but decided not to purchase one yet, since I'll likely be a gypsy this summer.

That does seem to be what's happening, yeah, choosing my own family. I'm curious to find out what that'll look like in a few years - I've heard these things change a lot over time.

Why Puck and Ariel? Haha that's a good interesting fact.

Haha, glad you think so!
I like to name my animals after characters from Shakespeare (my cat is named Desdemona). I want two female rats, but there aren't really a pair of women in Shakespeare that I think wprk for rats. Puck and Ariel are genderless sprites, from Midsummer and The Tempest, and I think their mischevious qualities work for rats.

Aw that's great! I love Desdemona too, haha.
